Sometimes it is difficult to find the release you are looking for in the torrent. When sorting by title in utorrent, it starts from the commissioner’s name. However, the commissioner isn’t listed in the Commission List(unless I’m looking wrong).

I suppose that’s a reasonable concern. Although, you could always use ctrl-f to search the SaHa folder by title/artist. The primary reason I don’t give out commissioner names on the list is that I’ve had commissioners complain to me that they’ve been nagged by random people on the boards. I used to list commissioner names with every release until that started happening.

Instead uploading some big files on rapidshare upload it on megaupload they allow up to 1Gb for free members to download ( just register nothing more)

Hi, I’m having some trouble viewing the megaupload folder via linkto. Basically, I get the megaupload page with the M logo in the centre, as though megaupload was loading the page, but it never loads. i’ve made sure my browser (firefox) has javascript and java enabled but that doesn’t help. I think it may be some other setting on the browser. Does anyone know what the problem might be? It would be a great help. Thank you…

I’m reuploading everything now. I started last night. Takes about 30-40 hours to reupload that much content. The megaupload folder will be filling up every couple of hours as I move newly uploaded stuff to the shared folder.

I noticed that earlier, when you hadn’t uploaded as much stuff, items seemed to be grouped by mangaka, but now things seem to be all over the place. I’m assuming that’s a side effect of moving the newly-uploaded stuff into the shared folder, but does that mean you’d have to sort it manually, or is there some autosort function?

password protecting the files wouldn’t help. Once the files are reported, megaupload(and the others) don’t actually check the file, they just delete it.
I’ve tried sending an e-mail to acidrain to find out what the status of his servers are, but I haven’t heard back yet. I’m discussing a ddl setup with somebody else right now. I don’t know how fast the servers will be, but he claims it’s unlimited bandwidth, so it should do the trick. I’ll have more info on that in the coming days. I may end up getting the releases hosted on 2 different ddl servers(acidrain’s and the new guy) so that if one goes down, the other can pick up the slack.
As far as this asshole’s vendetta is concerned, I don’t have a clue why he’s doing this, but it seems pretty obvious that he doesn’t have a life. He’s hit this blog 3 times in the past month. Somebody posted on this blog a few weeks back essentially claiming to be the culprit, but I don’t know for a fact that it’s actually him. It could just be some random asshole trying to get attention. I can offer up his IP to anyone who wants to try to put it to good use.

DDLs are not hosted by services like rapidshare and megaupload, where you can just click a “report” button and get the file deleted instantly.
In the case of DDLs, the guy would need to e-mail the host and actually prove that he owns the rights to the content before they’ll even listen to what he has to say.

Acidrain(the guy who has the ddl server) had decided to get a server upgrade, and apparently, the server company is twiddling their thumbs and wasting time like a bunch of asses. The DDLs were originally supposed to be back 2 weeks ago, but it just keeps getting delayed. I’m not actually sure when they’ll be back up again.

oh, and sorry for the double postings if that bothers you, but have you tried using a different set of host sites?
i knew of this one i found about six months back that keeps your stuff like rapidshare does, but it deletes it every month or two… and never erases it itself untill that month is up thus eliminating shit like this….unfortunately i dont remember the name of it, and i cant read cyrillic too well either to remember the name…..(it was a russian site thats all i can remember about it)
but anyways, i was just curious……thnx and keep up the Good Fight against the oppressors of our rights to download awesome shit like this.

my guess is whoever is doing this is just some lunatic who thinks hes saving children’s innocence who might stumble upon this site, or someone just running some programs that pretty much do the reporting for him/her/it. there’s also a lot of foundations and places out there that pay people a lot to just go around trying to get rid of this stuff off the internet all day (including google), saying lame stuff like “their kids might see this and be badly influenced” and saying it’s our fault and not theirs.. There could be a lot of other reasons of course but that’s generally the reason people give whenever you hear the reporter’s side of the story. I assume though that it’s probably happening through google since thats generally the biggest problem when people use these blogs. You could take it off google and some other stuff, but that would suck i’m sure. My suggestion though would be maybe to at least change the tags to abbreviations or something so when these @$$es reporting you search things like “rape/loli/sex” they don’t come across your site. =/ either way, good luck. I like this site so figured I’d throw in my two cents
