After some consideration, I’ve decided to start a weblog to let people get in touch with SaHa, or more specifically Sayo(me). This is primarily a way for people who want to keep up to date on what I’m working on, what I’ve recently completed, provide feedback on stuff that’s already been done, commission something for translation, etc…
I’ll be adding a link to this site with all future translations that I work on so that people will know where to find me seeing as this seems to be a long-standing complaint about the group in general. Besides, it should provide a convenient way for people to remain up to date on whatever SaHa’s doing. The very first release to contain such a link is the final chapter of “Take on Me” by Takemura Sesshu. If you’ve arrived here, you probably already know about that.
I’ve also registered a domain, so I’ll probably be moving this site over there in the future as soon as I find the time to actually get something done(which probably won’t be for a while). Hopefully it won’t look quite as plain as this blog once I’m done, but who the hell knows. Either way, this is a quick and easy alternative until that happens and when/if the move does happen, I’ll specify that through this blog.
For those looking to pick up some translated doujin/manga that I’ve worked on, they can go to these and search for anything that contains a torrent link or other stuff. I’ll be updating this blog whenever I add a link to either of these pages:
http://forum.hentaipalm.com/showthread.php?t=6774
http://www.mangaupdates.com/groups.html?id=1264
For those who absolutely must contact me privately for whatever reason, the best/quickest way(for now) is perhaps through a private message here:
http://forum.hentaipalm.com/member.php?find=lastposter&t=6774
For those who want something translated, they can inform themselves with this FAQ before they attempt to contact me with questions I’ve already answered:

thanks for the translation.
just wondering though but was there a mistranslation page 252?
I know the japanese doesn’t specifically mention the subject but from context I thought Tachikawa was covering for Tsuda.
That is Tsuda was the one who had gone out for a little while but it would appear that he was spending the night with Tachikawa.
Because the sis is covering for oono and the other girl then mentions who cares about those 2?
Or did i miss some other japanese lol

Thanks for your works!

As first one to comment i would like to say thank you for all your hard work with yourself and the SaHa team, you have brought so much great work to us we can never repay you.
P.s. You did great job on the final chapter of Take On Me.

Just some encouragement from nobody, keep up the great work! Also, although this is probably counter-economic, how did you learn your Japanese? Any tips for people no in Japan who’ve learned some but are struggling to master it?

Thanx for the Take On Me! Been waiting like hell for this. Keep up the good work!

Damn. Never knew I had to approve every single comment before they could be posted. There must be a way to set them to automatic. I’ll have to look into that.
Anyways, I’ll go through some of the ones that actually brought stuff up.
@kanon
This part here was rather unclear. I think it’s fairly certain Kei was covering for Hikaru, but I’m not totally certain if Tatsukawa was covering for Tsuda, or if he was simply covering for himself by telling his own mom that he was out for the night. It’s an interesting observation regardless. Of course, the pronouns are nonexistent in the japanese version, so when he says “I’ll let her know”, it could just as easily be “I’ll let him know” and similarly, he could be talking about Tsuda being out for the night and not himself. This may indeed be an oversight on my part.
@dastardly
I took 2 years of Japanese courses in university while I was taking my degree in computer science. From that, I learned sentence structure, hiragana, katakana(some kanji) and all the other basics. My knowledge of kanji is largely self-taught over the course of the past 3 years, and my vocabulary is a bit of a mix of the two, but perhaps more the latter. I’m not sure what tips I could give you. For starters, you should take a course to get a grasp of the language. After that, it takes a serious time commitment to learn the vocabulary and kanji. If you can find very advanced japanese courses in your area, those would obviously help a lot when it comes to learning kanji, but chances are you’ll need to do a lot of self-study on the side.
@the rest
Thanks for the comments. They’re appreciated.
Now I need to sit down and figure out how the hell I get these messages approved automatically because it’s retarded to have to approve each one.

Hehe, you’ve finally decided to strike it out on your own. Good Luck
August 22, 2007 at 8:57 am
Thanks for the great work! One day I saw that the chapter was published, the day after found the raw, and the after again you translated it! Magnificent
Just a question: do you think to translate the last chapter of Boku no Seinen Kouken-nin?
August 22, 2007 at 1:52 pm
I can’t seem to find a way to auto-approve comments, so I guess I’ll just have to approve them when I wake up. I’ll see about getting a better blog-type setup started soon so that I can get something that makes sense. And when that happens, I’ll make sure it works with my domain name, so you won’t need to type “wordpress” into the url.
@cemex
I decided to do this to provide a central point for reaching me, seeing as the message board makes it difficult for somebody who’s just passing through. I’ll still do stuff for dw when I find the time.
@marco1701
I have not done the last chapter of boku no seinen kouken nin yet. It’s on my desktop, and it’s cleaned, but It’s been that way for the past few months. I’ve been a teensy bit too busy to get around to actually finishing it. I don’t want to set a date for it to come out because I simply don’t know right now. For sure it won’t happen this week, because I’ve got a crapload of other stuff to translate.
August 22, 2007 at 2:01 pm
thanks for the answer. We’ll wait for the “crapload of stuff” to be translated
August 22, 2007 at 2:04 pm
Oh. Looks like I only need to approve posters, not individual messages. that’s not so bad.
August 24, 2007 at 8:22 am
Will you be doing 1-3 for Bow Rei – Secret Flower Garden?
August 24, 2007 at 8:46 am
Scratch that question, I found out 1-3 was already translated by someone else. So I guess that’s why it wasn’t listed in the commission thread.
Another question: are the Rindou stories connected together or are they separate short stories?
August 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm
Pretty sure all the rindou stories aren’t related. Different chracters, different monsters, etc…
September 15, 2007 at 5:51 pm
The translation of Take on Me is really well done, thank you.
Eto~~, did you translated the previous chapter? If so, where can i find it?
September 15, 2007 at 11:30 pm
All the others are available at doujin-world. Click on the “commission” link along the right side of this blog. I think the last link on that page should explain everything you need to acquire the old chapters.
September 16, 2007 at 3:35 pm
Thanks for the quick answer, Sahadou.
November 28, 2007 at 7:03 am
Thank you for the great work. And by any chance do you decide to do a high quality version of Take On Me volume 2 chapter 8?
November 28, 2007 at 5:03 pm
No plans right now, but I think it would be a safe assumption that it’s probably not going to happen.
